Sun Valley’s Legacy as the Inventor of the Chair Lift
Shown below is our very own Peter Austin on one of the original Sun Valley chairs!
Peter: The original chair lift was sold to a ski resort in the Laurentians. I’m not sure which one but it might have been Belle Neige. When they were finished, Pete Chauvin picked up the chairs and still has them. I was sitting in one of them when I was at his place a few years ago.
This has a lot of meaning to me as it was in Sun Valley where I met Helga.
